Welcome to the kitchen.
Where the fire meets the flavor. Real food cooked outside that tastes like a cookout and still loves you back.
How the grill taught me to lose 90 pounds.
I never set out to become a backyard cook.
I was simply looking for a healthier way to enjoy the food I already loved. What started with lighting charcoal on quiet Saturday mornings slowly became something much bigger.
The grill taught me patience. It taught me that great flavor doesn't come from rushing, and that slowing down can be healthier than constantly searching for the next diet.
Instead of relying on heavily processed meals, I started cooking with simple ingredients over real fire. One meal became another. One habit became another. Before I knew it, I had built a lifestyle I actually wanted to keep.
Over time, I lost 90 pounds. Not because I gave up good food. Because I learned to enjoy it differently.
Bougie Kitchen was created to share that journey, and to prove that healthy food can still feel rich, comforting, and unforgettable.
